It’s time for Tilde New Music Festival and the 2019 Tilde New Music Academy!
If you missed hearing the premiere performance at last year’s BIFEM, you can catch the Melbourne premiere of The Target Has Disappeared with the extremely excellent Natasha Anderson on Wednesday 16th. I will also be performing in a tutors’ concert on Thursday 17th.
See Tilde New Music and Sound Art for all details of the entire week of amazing things!
For the final night of the Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields Festival I will be playing sacred music by Monteverdi with e21 directed by Stephen Grant.
See the festival website for details and tickets.
See Inland or Facebook for details or head straight to Eventbrite for tickets.
In January, I had the great pleasure of working with the indomitable Donna Coleman on her two-hour Illuminations project for 3MBS. This Valentine’s Day, you can listen to Donna discussing The Boston Six group of American composers and hear her amazing playing at 103.5 FM.
I’m joining Donna for two works by the very excellent Amy Marcy Cheney Beach.
You can listen to the programme for one week following the 14th February as a podcast, at https://3mbs.org.au/how-to-listen/
Musica Viva Tasmania are hosting Van Diemen’s Band in this performance of Abendmusik with UK Bass soloist Thomas Flint.
For this concert I’ll be going on a voyage across Bass Strait with VDB’s brand new chamber organ in the back of my trusty station wagon to make sure we’ve got an organ for the concert, so you should really make an effort to come and hear it!
Head to Musica Viva for details and tickets.
